My top ten favorite/must have items:
For the upcomming season : Fall
  1. Blazer
  2. Fedora
  3. Black/beige/ or brown boots
  4. Skinny jeans
  5. Leggings/tights
  6. Cardigans
  7. An oversized purse
  8. Circle Scarf
  9. Booties (heels)
  10. Wide belt for waist
Reasoning:
  1. Blazer: The crisp lines of blazer and the structure allow them to dress up or even down an outfit. I love how versatile they are. You can wear them with a dress, romper, skirt, shirts, leggings, or skinny jeans. They can also be used as a transitional; as in bringing summer items like a romper or a dress into fall. I believe a Blazer is a staple piece that everyone should have in their closet.
  2. Fedora: My new obsession. I wish I had one for the summer as well! As a person with a big head and can never find a hat to fit my head :( I was skeptical of this style on me until I went to Soho and tried a few on. I PROMISED myself I would go back to the little stand and buy one and I completely forgot! So while shopping around today I popped into charlotte russe (I NEVER find anything there). I decided to mess around with their hats, but they didn't have and plain straw ones so I decided to be daring and buy a nice cheetah print one. I'm so excited to wear this with a black shirt, a chunky scarf skinny jeans, and a pair of booties!
  3. Boots: Staple piece. I love my boots they are so simple to just throw on with a t-shirt and jeans or leggings and always make the outfit better! No I'm not just talking aboutgoing out a getting the tall Choclate Uggs(guilty). I mean a nice pair of leater or faux leather boots. I have a pair of beige canvas ankle lace ups (ziginy.com) a well! I also own black motorcycle boots (h&m) and my boots mention in my previous haul. I have many more (shopaholic much?) but those are my recent purchases. Totaling $62 for all three, at least I'm a smart shopaholic :)
  4. Skinny Jeans: They go with EVERYTHING. My goto pants when lazy, but they can be dressed up or down. If you don't own a pair yet idk whats wrong with you!
  5. Leggings/Tights: Total transitioning piece. Make your summer dress, romper, skirts, or shorts wearable in the fall by adding a simple pair or leggings or patterned tights and a nice jacket to the mix.
  6. Cardigans: I wear these every season and they go with almost anything. I love just throwing on a cardigan when it's chilly. It can dress down or up an outfit. They can tone down obnoxious colors in an outfit (black grey etc) or you can get a colorful one and add a pop of color.
  7. An oversized purse: I feel like these are great in  the fall. I love to throw my makeupbag, wallet, phone, keys, EVERYTHING in my purses and I love how they go with the chunky knits, blazers/jackets. My dream bag--- the alexa bag well an alexa inspired at least (next purchase)
  8. Circle Scarf: lovelovelovelovelove. obsessedobsessed. I love just curcling these around my head and it instantly makes an outfit. H&M (favorite store <3) has so many from chunky knit, cotton, printed (lovee). My most recent is a floral print one from hm :)
  9. Booties: as a short person with a love for boots, these are godsent. They give you height and can instantly pull and outfit together.
  10. Wide-belt: A new thing of mine is long chunky skint sweater dresses. Wide belts instantly give you shape and make your waist more defined.
I could go on forever because I love everything around, but I tend to ramble so I thought ten was decent.
Happy Shopping :)

My thrift haul

This is one of the times I wish I had a video camera so I can show a video of all my finds! Well here it goes:

These are the best pictures I could manage, but these babies that were on sale at the store for $76.30 down from $109.00 I got at the Salvation army for a whole $3!! score!

So my goal was to find a blazer (must have item!) when I walked into the Salvation Army. I did not own one and I wanted one badly! I had tried on  about 10 the day before at forever21 and H&M ranging in price from $30-$50, but was not impressed. I scored this amazing Banana Republic cream colored blazer that fit PERFECTLY for $13 and it still sells on their website for about $125 down from $160. The black one by Dana Buchman was another amazing fit for only $6!

These two babies are also from the Salvation Army. One beige crossbody bag for only $2.99 which I've already worn as pictured, with my Nine West heels peeking from the bottom :). I also scored this '60s black vintage Michels- drew bag for $6 in almost perfect condition (the handle needs some fixing). I love the structure of this bag and cannot wait to wear it!

Oops almost forgot these, but this picture does not do these boots justice! Barely worn (if ever) boots by Rampage. I did my research and famous footwear sells this brand and their little booties run about $60 (for an idea). I spotted these and though uh I guess they're okay, but then I tried them on... My exact size, fit me perfectly and looked amazing.

Can't wait until fall so I can rock all these pieces! I also swapped up a pair of Mossimo a Target brand with all original tags still on it for about $6. I must say for about $42 I think I did great!
